Message from the President
Greetings Sunshine Slopers:
A heartfelt “THANK YOU” to the membership for your vote of confidence for me to be the next President of the Sunshine Slopers for the 2011-13 Ski Seasons.
I am honored and humbled at the opportunity to lead a club with such committed and dedicated members.
The legacy of the Presidents before me, have set a remarkable path of accomplishments, growth and development for the club throughout the years.
Continuing on this path will be a privilege that I will honor and respect.
My vision for the upcoming ski seasons will only manifest with the input and assistance from the Board of Directors, Committee Chairs and membership. It is my intention to reach out and keep in touch with the desires and directions set forth by the overall membership. We are poised to work together to make this one of the most productive and goal accomplishing clubs in the National Brotherhood of Skiers.
We have had an exciting and eventful summer from the Club Retreat to the Installation and Appreciation Reception, Summerfest and more to come. The Board & Committees have been working diligently during the summer months planning, preparing magical trips, fun events and youth activities for our ski season. The club is sure to have something on the club calendar that can be enjoyed by you.
The theme for my term is “Moving Forward – Reaching Peaks”. This reflects a collective effort to take our club to another level and reach the peaks of excitement in all the ways that it shows up in our club. We can make this happen by working together in the best interest of our mission, membership and community outreach. The club has provided many memorable occasions, so let’s give back to the club.
As we take a leap of faith, let’s keep the club in our prayers and know that God’s Divine Guidance and Protection is with us always.
